Research Interests: Lee studies contemporary value theory and metaethics with a focus on their political implications, drawing especially on the work of Charles Taylor. Under the supervision of Dr King-Ho Leung, his PhD dissertation critically examines the current analytic philosophical literature on meaning in life, as well as its connections to liberal political theory and Eastern Christian theology. He is currently published in Agatheos – European Journal for Philosophy of Religion on the relevance of ‘ultimate’ considerations for conceptualizing a theory of meaning. Additional interests include the philosophy of social trust, the aesthetical value of games, and the metaethical consequences of alien life.
