Hometown
Johannes grew up in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands. In 2010 he moved to Leuven (Belgium) to pursue an Undergraduate Degree at ETF. Since 2013 he has lived in St Andrews.

Research Interests
Broadly speaking, my interest very much lies with Christology in the patristic and early medieval era. More specifically, I am very much interested in the development of post-Chalcedonian Christology in the West.
