Dr Baylor is currently Teaching Fellow in Systematic Theology within St Mary’s College. His PhD research focused on the Christian doctrine of God, particularly the manner in which early Modern concepts of divine justice and perfection underwrite different accounts of the nature of Christ’s work and the ends of God’s government. Dr Baylor currently teaches courses on Christology, Salvation, and the Nature of Theology. He has general research interests in Modern and early Modern theology and biblical interpretation, but especially as it relates to the way that different construals of Christ’s work have influenced Christian moral and social teaching. His current research focuses on the moral teachings that establish Protestant arguments for the necessity of the incarnation.
